Who Made the 99 Names of Allah?
Now, let's directly answer the question, Who made the 99 names of Allah?
To answer this question, let me share another Hadith:
From Abu Musa al-Ash'ari radliyallahu 'anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said," Whoever is afflicted with distress or sadness, then let him pray with these sentences, (he said), "O My god! I am your servant, the son of your male servant, the son of your female servant, in your grasp. My crown is in your power. Your decision applies to me. Your fair decision applies to me. I ask You with all Your names that You have used to call Your Essence, or that you have sent down in Your book, or that You have taught one of Your creatures, or that You have stored in occult knowledge by Your side, so that You make the Quran as the light of my chest, the conditioning of my heart, the removal of my sorrow and sorrow."
From this Hadith, especially the part that says, أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ ("I ask You with all Your names..."), we can conclude that the 99 names of Allah were created by Allah Himself.
