The first important point about Common Techniques to Convert to Islam in Oman what I will clarify currently is "what is Islam in simple words?". I want you to understand that first before you learn more explanations in this article because it's a fundamental question in this discussion that must be recognized properly.

As a whole, many individuals understand that Islam is the religious beliefs of the last skies. What I mean by the religious beliefs of heaven is the faith that comes from God (Allah). Islam was brought by the Prophet Muhammad as the last Prophet and Messenger of Allah.

That's right right. You're not wrong if you understand Islam in simple words how it is discussed in the paragraph above. But there are some other very simple points that can make you understand what Islam is.

We can find an explanation of some various other very simple points that can make you understand what Islam remains in simple words in the hadith listed below:

From Umar bin Khattab radliyallahu anhu. He said, "While we were resting with Allah's Messenger (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam someday, unexpectedly a guy who was wearing very white clothes and very black hair came to us. We didn't see the darkness beneath him, until he attracted close to to the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. He after that leaned his knees on his (Prophet Muhammad's) knees and positioned his 2 practical his (Prophet Muhammad) thighs. After that he said, "O Muhammad, tell me about Islam: what is Islam?" He (Prophet Muhammad) replied, "(Islam is) you bear witness that there's no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, you perform prayers, you pay Zakat, you fast in Ramadan, and you perform Hajj if you're able to do so." (The hadith is long).

Readers! If we understand the hadith over, we can conclude that Islam in simple words is as adheres to:

  • Birth witness that there's no god but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger.
  • Perform the obligatory prayers 5 times a day (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha).
  • Paying Zakat for Muslims that have the commitment to pay Zakat.
  • Fasting in the month of Ramadan.
  • Performing Hajj for those Muslims who are able to do so.

Those are five important points that we can use as a standard to understand Islam in simple words. These 5 things are the five columns of Islam. We can find this explanation in the hadith listed below:

From Abdullah bin Umar radliyallahu anhuma, he said, "The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, "Islam is improved 5 things; testament that there's no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, performing prayers, paying zakat, fasting in Ramadan, and visiting Baitullah (doing Hajj)."

That's a short explanation about "what is Islam in simple words?". As Muslims, we must understand that.

As a whole, there are 2 main reasons that Islam is an excellent faith for us:

  • Islam guarantees happiness in this world and the hereafter for Muslims who practice Islamic teachings very well.
  • The credibility of both main resources of Islam is well maintained from time to time. Both main resources of Islam that I am referring to are the Quran and the hadiths. Consequently, the the authenticity of Muslims as a people who follow spiritual teachings that came from paradise is very well maintained.

There is a lot discussion about these two main factors. Unfortunately, I can't discuss all of it in this article because we would certainly need a great deal of time and words.
