عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : فِيْ الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِيْ مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ -- قَالَ : تَغْتَسِلْ . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ . زَادَ مُسْلِمٌ : فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ : وَهَلْ يَكُوْنُ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ , فَمِنْ أَيْنَ الشِّبْهُ
From Anas radliyalaahu 'anhu, he said, "Allah's Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam has said (about women who dream of seeing something seen by men in his dream him), "She must take a bath." The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim. Muslim added the editor of the hadith, "Umm Salamah then asked, "And is this there?" He (Prophet Muhammad) replied, "Yes. Then where is that similarity?"
There are several things related to the hadith above that we need to know;
- Women can dream of having sex like men.
- Women are not obliged to take a bath unless she has seen sperm.
- The hadith explains that the child is sometimes similar to his father and sometimes resembles his mother. If one of the sperms of two parents is stronger, then the child is similar to the owner of the sperm.
- The hadith explains, that women may ask men about matters of religion that she does not understand.
- The hadith explains the perseverance of women in the days of the companions of Prophet Muhammad to understand Islam.
